`Beautiful` Katie Holmes praised by director
Katie Holmes is "so beautiful" it only took her ten minutes to get ready for the scenes in her new movie.
The actress stars in comedy The Extra Man, which tells the story of social escorts and wealthy widows in New York. Katie is widely regarded as one of the most attractive stars in Hollywood and the movie`s director Shari Springer Berman has revealed the make-up artists didn`t have to spend long ensuring the 31-year-old was ready to step in front of the cameras.
"Katie was amazing, she was the most lovely, professional actress. She was great, really fun and so beautiful - she was in and out of the make-up trailer in like five minutes!" Shari told ET Online at the premiere for the movie in New York yesterday.
Katie was thrilled to spend time in New York while she was working on The Extra Man and enjoyed taking her daughter Suri to the film set.
"I love New York, so it was great to not only shoot a movie here, but to tell a story about New York and be a part of it. I had a wonderful time," she revealed. "I bring my daughter with me and we just are - we`re just busy and we make it work. It`s fun."
Kevin Kline also appears in the film, playing poor playwright Henry Harrison who pays his bills by being a social escort. The actor loved his eccentric character and revealed the dry wit attracted him to the project.
"When I read the script it made me laugh? the character was utterly original and very funny, and I couldn`t wait to do it," Kevin said.
